1. Overview & Commitment

At WhatsShop Studio, we prioritize your data privacy. We build zero-commission social commerce tools designed to connect buyers and sellers directly over WhatsApp without harvesting private customer details or selling transaction logs.

2. Data Collection & Processing

• Merchant Store Configuration: Store name, slogans, logos, phone numbers, and product catalog items are stored locally in browser localStorage and encrypted cloud data stores.
• Customer Checkout Data: Customer names, delivery addresses, and cart totals are formatted into direct WhatsApp message payloads. We do not store credit card passwords or bank numbers on our servers.
• Device & GPS Pinning: Geolocation coordinates are used solely for auto-populating delivery address map pins upon customer request.

3. Third-Party Services

Orders are transmitted directly to WhatsApp via standard Meta WhatsApp API protocols. No transaction data is shared with third-party advertising brokers.

4. Data Backup & Export

Merchants retain full data ownership. You can export a complete .json backup of your store catalog, orders, and coupons anytime from the Merchant Studio.
